Housing
Our on-campus housing provides environmentally conscious living spaces that allow students to embrace a sustainable lifestyle while enjoying all the benefits of campus life.
At Pitzer College, our campus living is at the heart of the experience, with most of our students calling one of our six vibrant residence halls home. This isn't just about having a place to sleep; it's about creating a shared space where ideas and learning flourish in a supportive and diverse community.
With state-of-the-art facilities designed with sustainability in mind, our on-campus housing offers a unique living experience. From energy-efficient buildings to recycling programs, we provide students with the tools to minimize their carbon footprint. By choosing to live on campus, you're actively contributing to a greener future.

In each residence hall, we've got an incredible team led by our live-in residence staff. These aren't just staff members; they're mentors, program orchestrators, and the go-to for ensuring everything in the residence halls runs smoothly. Think of them as your guides to making the most out of campus living, always ready to support you, whether it's through organized activities, guidance, or just being there to chat when you need it. And should you ever need assistance, day or night, there's always someone on call, ensuring you're supported 24/7.
Each hall has a resident assistant (RA) dedicated to building a community within their halls and Pitzer. In addition to community building, RAs design resident life programming and conduct security checks throughout the building every night of the week.
Each of the residence halls have trained, live-in Residence Directors who are full-time professional staff members responsible for coordinating and overseeing hall activities including programming, advising on academic and personal concerns, supervising and coordinating student staff, working with residence hall council, and daily operations.
Student engagement is one of Pitzer’s core values and getting involved early on is as easy as looking around your residence hall!
